How to Find Every Bobblehead Location in Fallout 4

In Fallout 4, there are 20 different Bobbleheads that can be found in your travels around the wasteland. Finding a Bobblehead can increase a SPECIAL stat, depending on the kind of Bobblehead you find.

S.P.E.C.I.A.L. Bobblehead Locations

There are seven Bobbleheads to be found around the wasteland that will advance a specific SPECIAL skill by one rank.

Strength Bobblehead

Strength Bobblehead

Location:Mass Fusion Building
Effect: +1 Strength

After reaching the Mass Fusion Building, head inside (if you haven't already cleared it, it will be full of Raiders, so be wary!). Make your way up to the top level, where you fight the Raider leader wearing Power Armor.

The Bobblehead is sitting on the top of the statue hanging over the lobby - climb onto the couch to collect it.

Perception Bobblehead

Perception Bobblehead

Location:Museum of Freedom
Effect: +1 Perception

Once you defeat the Raiders inside the Museum of Freedom in Concord, pick up the Bobblehead from the desk at the far end of the room where you first meet Preston Garvey.

Endurance Bobblehead

Endurance Bobblehead

Location:Poseidon Energy
Effect: +1 Endurance

Head to the south-east corner of the map to reach Poseidon Energy. You'll find the Bobblehead inside the central chamber, which is a large open area with, several stories tall. Use the ramps and scaffolding to get up to the room that's elevated in the middle, and you'll find the Bobblehead along with several enemies.

Charisma Bobblehead

Location:Parsons State Insane Asylum
Effect: +1 Charisma

In the northern section of The Commonwealth, make your way to the Parsons Asylum. If you haven't started the Quest chain for Mr. Cabot, you wont be able to get in.

To enter the Asylum, you must be at least level 10, and fight some of the Mercenaries guarding the Asylum. Then look for a Ghoul named Edward Deegan, who travels between several bars in the Diamond City Market, Goodneighbor, and Bunker Hill. Once he introduces you to his boss at the Cabot House, complete the chain of quests until you enter the Asylum with Mr. Cabot.

Once inside, fight off the raiders and follow Mr. Cabot to his office, where you will find the Bobblehead on his desk.

Intelligence Bobblehead

Intelligence Bobblehead

Location:Boston Public Library
Effect: +1 Intelligence

Fight your way through the Protectrons, turrets and Super Mutants until you reach the large room on the north side of the library's second floor.

At the far end of this chamber is a wooden door - pass through it to find the Bobblehead resting on the computer console in the next room.

Agility Bobblehead

Agility Bobblehead

Location:Wreck of the FMS Northern Star
Effect: +1 Agility

Enter the belly of the Northern Star and cross the piles of cargo containers to the stern of the ship. Make your way up to the main deck, then head to the bow. After moving up the stairs into the makeshift hut, you will find the Bobblehead on the very edge, sitting on a small beam.

Luck Bobblehead

Luck Bobblehead

Location:Spectacle Island
Effect: +1 Luck

Once you reach Spectacle Island, make your way towards the southern shore. Past a small dilapidated hut, a derelict green tugboat lies beached in the shallows.

The Bobblehead can be found by entering the wheelhouse of the boat and searching the locker next to the steamer trunk.

There are 13 additional Bobbleheads that will improve several of your skills.

Barter Bobblehead

Barter Bobblehead

Location:Longneck Lukowski's Cannery
Effect: Prices are 5% better.

Enter the cannery and go to the assembly room. Follow the catwalks up and around to the right (to the north side of the building), then enter the room that overlooks the assembly line to find the Bobblehead.

Big Guns Bobblehead

Big Guns Bobblehead

Location:Vault 95
Effect: +25% Critical Hit Damage with heavy weapons.

After fighting your way into and clearing Vault 95, head through the door on the right side of the main chamber, then down to the lower residence via the doorway at the end of the hall. Move through the destroyed wall at the bottom of the ramp and go through the door on your right, eliminating any remaining Raiders, and find the Bobblehead on the radio between the two couches in the next room.

Energy Weapons Bobblehead

Energy Weapons Bobblehead

Location:Fort Hagen - Command Center
Effect: Permanently gain +25% critical damage with energy weapons.

In the Command Center section of Fort Hagen, you will find this Bobblehead in the kitchen area, sitting between two refridgerators on your way towards the basement tunnels. Note that you will not be able to access the elevator leading to the Fort Hagen Command Center until you begin the main quest, Getting a Clue in Diamond City.

Explosives Bobblehead

Explosives Bobblehead

Location:Saugus Ironworks
Effect:Explosives deal 15% more damage.

Upon reaching the Ironworks, fight your way through the Forgers outside and in the first two chambers. Make your way up the destroyed catwalks in the second room and follow them to reach the doors to the Blast Furnace. Once inside the Blast Furnace area, you can this Bobblehead sitting upon a tall computer, directly behind where Slag stands during your confrontation.

Lock Picking Bobblehead

Lock Picking Bobblehead

Location: Pickman Gallery
Effect: Lock picking becomes easier.

Head down through the Gallery to it's lowest levels. You will eventually come across a man, Pickman, being held up by raiders. In this room is a flaming trashcan in the center of the room. Beside it you will find the Bobblehead.

Medicine Bobblehead

Medicine Bobblehead

Location:Vault 81
Effect: Stimpacks heal 10% more damage.

In Vault 81, take the elevator down to the basement level. Inside the medical area, with the floating robot Curie, you will see this Bobblehead.

Melee Bobblehead

Location:Trinity Tower
Effect: +25% Critical Hit Damage with Melee Weapons.

In the cage where Rex and Strong are being held, at the very top of Trinity Tower. To get there, you will need to go up a couple elevators, before finally reaching the top floor, which is basically an exposed, roof like area.

Repair Bobblehead

Repair Bobblehead

Location:Corvega Assembly Plant
Effect:Fusion Cores last 10% longer.

Go through the inside of the building, until you find a door that exits onto the roof. Once up here, follow the blue cat walks, until it leads you all the way up and around the giant blue sphere. Here you'll spot the Bobblehead.

Science Bobblehead

Science Bobblehead

Location:Malden Middle School
Effect: Get one extra guess while hacking.

Inside Vault 75 (aka Malden High School), head to Basement Level 3. While down here, you will find a room that overlooks the cavern with the run down stores. Inside this room is the Bobblehead.

Small Guns Bobblehead

Small Guns Bobblehead

Location:Gunners Plaza
Effect: +25% Critical Hit Damage with ballistic ammo.

Inside the building, there is a room with a sign above the doors saying On the Air. You will need to be able to pick Master level locks to get inside. Once in, you'll see the Bobblehead on the desk.

Sneak Bobblehead

Sneak Bobblehead

Location:Dunwich Borers
Effect: 10% Harder to detect.

This is deep within the caves. You will know you're close when the enemies become Ghouls. If you get to the end though and kill several Ghouls with names, you've gone a bit too far, as the Bobblehead is about a 5-second walk back from the final room.

Speech Bobblehead

Location:Park Street Station - Vault 114
Effect: All vendors permanently have 100 more Caps for bartering.

This is found in the Vault 114 Overseer's Office where you find Nick Valentine while pursuing the main quest, Unlikely Valentine. You'll spot the Bobblehead sitting on a desk behind him.

Unarmed Bobblehead

Unarmed Bobblehead

Location:Atom Cats Garage
Effect +25% Critical Hit Damage with unarmed strikes.

Look for a rusted car that's inside the main garage. On its hood will be the Bobblehead.

Are any of the bobbleheads in Fallout 4 missable? ›

None of them are missable. The asylum one you can get any time you do the quest and I think you can even get back in as long as you don't fail the quest somehow.

How to tell which bobbleheads you have in Fallout 4? ›

go to one of your settlements and place the bobblehead stand. Go to your misc inventory and sort them by alphabet, I think it's L3 with default, the bobblehead should be all grouped. .just select the stand and transfer them and they'll pop up.

Getting a bobblehead at level 10 permanently ups your stats to 11. You get all the benefits that going from 9-10 would give you so for all purposes it's a permanent stat buff. If you pickup the bobblehead BEFORE you have maxed the stat, than you can never get a BASE value of 11 in any stat.
